Real Leather Belt for Children with something every little tike dreams of.....HORSES.

1.25 (1 &1/4) inches wide, (this will fit most pant loops) with the size of the stamps to make the design it can't be narrower.
If you need a narrower belt we can do that with other designs.

The last photo is of a size chart, use it as a guide if you can't measure the child. MEASURING IS BEST, in the chart you can see there isn't much difference between boys and girls of the same size....1/2" in most cases, that's not enough to worry about, just go with the boys. ( my drop down menu was made before I found this chart), it is more tailored for the boys side of things.

Completely made by hand. This is not one of those wimpy half cardboard belts like you see in any retail outlet. These babies are built to last. Made from REAL cow hide just like our adult belts......HOW EVER we do use a lighter weight leather so it's not as bulky for the kids.

I also make them a couple of inches longer in proportion than an Adult belt, because we KNOW the child will be growing. Typically they'll get 5 to 7 years out of one of our belts.....they will out grow it before they will outwear it.

It's been my experience that kids grow about an inch a year around the waist, now true they do have growth spurts, but normally about an inch a year. So lets take a size 6 regular, that is about a size 20 inch in one of my Belts...I make that 20" hole the second from the smallest hole just in case the child looses a bit or the belt stretches we want to have some leeway. Then I give another 4 to 5 Holes going out so the belt will go out to 24 to 25 inches which takes him though the next 2 to 3 sizes in cloths. And if you want I can add a couple more, but then we start getting into the design out on the tip...but some parents want to get all they can.....so you ask, I'll do

I've had several kids get belts from me, then years later they'll see me and bring there kid to me to get his or her first REAL LEATHER Belt........it's Real Fun when that happens.

We do add names or initials on them if you wish, on Kids belts I have never charged for a name. I found out long ago, many parents will buy the child a belt but won't spend extra to put a name on it for them....don't know why....I've just seen it time after time....so I started putting names on kids belts at no charge, and the kids eyes and faces just light up when they find out they get their name too.

One thing about ordering size....my sizes per pant size is just a guide.....please if you can measure the waist with a cloth tape and give me THAT measurement, pull it snug and thread the tape through the pant loops, make sure the pants are where the child WILL WEAR the pants.....not up around his chest or down around his butt...if you can't measure, then my guide will suffice most of the time.
