The Black Lab Bag is my personal bag, I've beat the crap out of it for nearly 21 years, and it shows almost as new....

This is a LARGE BAG, 14" height, 21" wide, a total of 12" thick front to back, by way of an 8" back compartment and a 4" front compartment...one large back pocket on the inside along the back wall, then it has a medium pocket with snap top closures on the center separator, and on the out side of the front panel I have a smaller pocket again with snap closures, and a snap off coin case. When empty it's less than 2" thick.

The interior is really up to you....let's put our heads together and see what we can come up with.

There are two 1 inch wide tightener straps with solid brass buckles, that will hold the bag closed when full.

I've used these bags for carry on flight bags, I've taken them to the duck blind as a Hunting bag, I've thrown it into the back of the pickup truck and just carried lunch and extra clothes to work...very versatile.
You can't beat them up, the harder you use them the cooler they look....

The art work is my own, both the carving and painting. this type bag can take up to 20 to 25 hours to make, depending on what you want for pockets and the actual art work itself. The Art is popped out from behind about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch in a special process that I have developed that makes it look like its real 3 dimensional. The art just seem to POP right off the leather.

The shoulder strap is attached to the bag with brass hardware and I use sheep skin for the shoulder pad itself for comfort, and talk about a looker, this bag is it.

If what you want, is a bag that will get noticed and be a TRUE eye-catcher, and yet be so functional, and take a beating for years these babies are it....

You can get an idea of the size of the bag, by looking at the second picture, of the Women that commissioned this bag, as she's holding it up...she was ecstatic....the back of the flap is lined with a medium weight dark brown suede cow split, looks and feels VERY Classy.

I use a light weight 3 to 4 oz, Oak Tanned Calf Hide, this makes a not too heavy and not exactly a light weight bag. It will stand up to years of abuse and still look good and be very usable. And is yet very supple to give you that "HAND" feeling that only comes with Quality leather.
